What is an IEP?
An IEP is an Individual Education Plan. It states the individual strengths and needs of your child and outlines any special services that will be provided to your child by the school district. The IEP is developed by the "IEP Team". The “IEP Team” or “IEP Committee” consists of the speech therapist, the classroom teacher, the parent/s, an administrator and any other individuals the committee agrees to involve.
