Welcome! 

I was born and raised in Minnesota, just north of the Twin Cities. I received my art education degree at Minnesota State University- Moorhead.  I have previously taught for 6 years at Wren Middle and 8^th grade art for 8 years in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.   I had the honor of being Wren Middle's Teacher of the Year for 2012-13.

I am looking forward to my second year at Palmetto Middle.  I believe in both supporting and challenging my students while exploring various art forms and developing their own creative style.
