Hi! My name is Jessica Tollison. This is my twenty-second year teaching  at Wren Middle School. I am originally from Missouri and graduated from Missouri State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1999.  In 2004, I completed my Master's Degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Later that year, I achieved National Board Certification.  I feel teaching is my professional life's purpose and enjoy challenging my students!  I look forward to getting to know each group of students each year and enjoy learning new things from them!

In addition to teaching, I sponsor the WMS Beta Club.  We lead several service projects for the school and community throughout the year.  We have also been extremely successful in competing in state and national conventions.  Beta Club is a worthwhile service and leadership organization.  I am excited to be able to teach a class this year that incorporates the wonderful activities Beta Club has to offer.

I have been married to a wonderful man, Brian Tollison, for twenty-one years and we have two awesome and funny sons, Bailey (21) and Jonah (18) and a beautiful daughter, Jenna-Kate (12).  Bailey is a graduate of Wren High School and is now a senior majoring in Secondary Education History at USC Upstate and works at with ASD1 subbing and in the technology department.  Jonah is a recent graduate of Wren High School and is a freshman at Missouri State University majoring in cell and mollecular biology.  Jenna-Kate is a seventh grader at Wren Middle School and is a competitive danceer at UCDC.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sewing, crocheting, playing games, doing puzzles, traveling, watching college football, and spending time doing anything with my family and friends.
