              My name is Richard Beach and I am the art teacher here at West Pelzer.  Just to give you a little background on myself, I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BFA in Art Education and I am National Board Certified.I have been teaching for 26 years and I have taught and coached at all grade levels, Kindergarten to 12th grade  I have been married for 26 years to my wife Stephanie and I have two daughters, Sarah and Hannah..   
              I am looking forward to this year's art classes and I hope that my students have great experiences.  I try to provide a wide range of projects and mediums so that my students have the opportunity to express themselves through a variety art experiences and to learn about styles, movements, and art from around the world.
