    Welcome to the wonderful world of physical education.  I hope everyone has been exercising over the summer. 
     
    Mr. Pearson grew up in the upstate of South Carolina.  This is my 19th year of teaching at West Pelzer Elementary.  I now have seniors at Palmetto High School that I taught when they were here at West Pelzer, that's a scary thougth.  I have been married for 14 years now to my beatiful wife Ashley, she is an art teacher at Hunt Meadows Elementary. On May 5, 2011, my wife and I had a baby girl named Avery.  She is now 5 years old.   We have a son who was born August 7,2015, his name is Colton.  I spent four wonderful year at Newberry College where I played baseball, I was apart of the 1999 SAC Championship team.  At Newberry, I earned my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.  On September 2008, I earned my Masters Degree in Education from Southern Wesleyan University.  I coached baseball at Wren High School for 15 years, 2015 was my last year, i retired from baseball to become a full time father.
