Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome Back!! I look forward to an amazing year in the Speech-Language Program at West Pelzer Elementary.   I will periodically keep you informed on what your child is working on via SeeSaw.  

I will continue to use a stamp chart and small prizes to encourage and reward your child for his/her efforts, completion of homework and good behavior in Speech class.

A little info about me....

My name is Crystal Sims and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at West Pelzer Elementary.  This is my 23rd year teaching; however, it is my 10th year in Anderson District One.  I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech from Columbia College in 1995 and a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina in 1997. I am very proud to also share with you that I have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association as well as my state license. Currently I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as well as the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

My husband and I have one son that attends Palmetto High School.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, completing Sudoku puzzles, cheering for the Clemson Tigers, and spending time with my family and friends.
