PrincipalPES is a wonderful place that is filled with dedicated teachers who are committed to continuing a tradition of excellence. Our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), SIC (School Improvement Council), and district office provide us with outstanding support, which allows us to address the needs of all our students. We also receive Title I federal funds that greatly enhance the educational opportunities at PES.During my career in Anderson District One, I have also served as assistant principal and taught in various capacities at Wren Middle. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lander University and my master’s in Elementary Supervision and Leadership from Furman University. It was my professional goal for many years to serve as principal. My husband, Bryan, and I have two beautiful children, Andy and Ally. We enjoy opportunities to spend time together as a family like camping, boating, fishing, reading books and playing outside. Whenever I am not working, I am playing! We have so much fun. Watching them grow and learn new things brings me so much joy. Our family is also very involved in our church, Washington Baptist. The role of principal is not a job for me; it's my mission! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve PES and strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for everyone each day. I love PES!
I look forward to an outstanding school year as we model 'The Mustang Way'!
