Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. This is my first year at Wren Middle School, but my twenty first year in education. I enjoy teaching mathematics as it has always been my favorite subject.
I was a student at Wren Middle School and graduated from Wren High School then went on to get my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from North Greenville College. After my time at North Greenville, I taught at Mauldin Middle School (Greenville County) and attended Furman University to receive my certification in Middle School Mathematics. Then, I moved to Gettys Middle School (Pickens County) and went on to earn my Masters of Education from Southern Wesleyan University, Gifted and Talented certification from Converse College along with an Education Specialist degree in School Leadership and Superintendence from Liberty University.
In my spare time, I love to, travel, cook, spend time by the pool, and read car magazines. I also love to sew, embroider, garden, watch Alabama football, collect anything Mickey Mouse and most of all spend time with my family.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have one daughter who is in the sixth grade. My husband is a helicopter pilot for the South Carolina Army National Guard. We have one dog, a miniature poodle, who is named Meeko.
My mission for my students is to produce successful learners.
I look forward to getting to know you this year.
