Welcome to Mrs. Evans's Classroom

Welcome to 8th grade English!  I am Janet Evans, and this is my 23rd year of teaching.  I taught 7th and 8th grade ELA for eight years in North Carolina and for thirteen years, I taught English at Eastside High School in Greenville County.  I am thrilled to be back in middle school and beginning my second year at Wren.  I am looking forward to a fantastic, although unusual, year.  I received my Bachelor degree in English/Education from Appalachain State University and my Masters degree in African-American Literature from NC A&T State University. 

I am a huge UNC fan (though my husband encourages me to pull for Georgia during football season) and I enjoy hiking, running, reading, and spending time with our blended family of four kids.
