I was born in Greensboro, NC with my two sisters and parents. I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was in 3rd grade!
After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2012, I moved to Nashville, TN where I taught for three years. I moved to Greenville in 2015, where I taught 3rd grade for three years. During this time, I earned a Master’s in Literacy from Furman. This will be my fourth year at Spearman and my tenth year teaching.
In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, family, and corgis, Bertha and Ruby. I also love to travel! My husband and I have been married for four years.
Working in other school districts has given me a true appreciation for Spearman—it is a very special place, and I am thankful to be a part of it!
