Welcome... I am so excited to have your child in my class this year!  This will be my 19th year teaching kindergarten at Concrete. It is so exciting and rewarding to watch the children grow and learn both socially and academically throughout the year.  I know this year will be different but together we will get through the changes. 

A little bit about me...I am a graduate of Georgia State University.  My husband and I got married the week after I graduated and this year we will celebrate our 35th anniversary!  We have 3 adult sons.  Only our youngest son and his wife live in the Powdersville area so Steve and I get to travel to visit the others.  Our oldest lives in Bluffton, SC and our middle son and his family live in Anchorage, Alaska.  The saddest part of this "Covid Crisis" to us was the cancellation of our highly anticipated 3 week vacation to Alaska.  We were heartbroken not to get to see our son, his wife, and our precious 2 1/2 year old granddaughter!
