I am excited to be teaching second grade this year at Cedar Grove Elementary School!  I have been working in Anderson School District One since 2002. I began my career at Palmetto Middle School and moved on to Palmetto High School. I realized that I loved working in the school district and teaching children! I decided to return to school to continue my education. I graduated with a BA in Music from Anderson University in 1998, and earned my Masters in Early Childhood from Walden University in 2010. I have been teaching at Cedar Grove Elementary School since 2011 as an ELL  teacher. This is my eighth year having my own classroom, and I am so excited about having this opportunity! I trust that it will be a GREAT year!! I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We are all Clemson fans (Go Tigers!), and enjoy worshiping at Calvary Baptist Church. My hobbies include playing the piano and singing, as well as collecting giraffe figurines. Giraffes are my favorite animal! :) Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to help your child succeed, and will do my best to accommodate their needs.
