Welcome to 4th grade at Powdersville Elementary!

My name is Hannah Heath, and I am very excited about this school year!!  This will be my sixth year at Powdersville and fourth year teaching 4th grade. I'm looking forward to new adventures and opportunities with a great group of students! My goals include establishing a classroom community where everyone is unique and valuable, working together as a team to accomplish classroom goals, and ensuring academic success for each student.
I will be teaching all subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Writing this year. I am excited about teaching my students the skills and strategies that will help prepare them to be "college and career ready" scholars! I can't wait for all of the adventures we will embark upon, as we learn and grow this year!
us About Me: My husband, Dylan, and I just celebrated our two year wedding anniversary. We got married on April 8, 2017! Some of you may know me as "Miss Lockaby." We live in Greenville, but I am a native of the Powdersville community. I am proud to say that I attended Powdersville Elementary the first year it opened! I grew up in Anderson District One and graduated from Wren High School. I continued my education at North Greenville University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Dual-Certification in Early Childhood. I have also recently graduated with my Master's of Administration and Supervision Degree from Anderson University. I'm a huge Gamecock fan and I love Disney! I also love sports and enjoy playing softball and basketball in my spare time. I am the Head Girl's Basketball Coach for Powdersville Middle, so come cheer us on during basketball season!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. This site will be a useful resource throughout the school year for both parents and students. Throughout the year, I will update my newsletter, SeeSaw, and Remind alerts; so check back often!
