       Hello and welcome.  I am excited about the opportunities for learning this year in English II.  I hope you will use this page as a resource throughout the 2020-21 school year.  
        I have been teaching English at Wren High School for more than twenty (!) years.  I have a BA from Southern Wesleyan University and a Masters of Technology in Education from Lesley University.  In 2002 I earned National Board Certification. I co-sponsor the Wren High chapter of the National Beta Club.      I have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina for most of my life.  I enjoy reading, kayaking, scrapbooking, and yard work (except when it's hot).  One of my favorite places to visit is Charleston, SC, where my two adult children Nick and Emily reside.
