    Welcome!  My name is Bill Clater, and this is my fifteenth year teaching math at Wren High School and my thirty-first year overall teaching math.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Bob Jones University in 1988 and a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University in 1991.  I received national teacher certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2006.
     
    My wife (Mary) and I are both from the state of Maine but have lived here in upstate SC for most of our adult lives. We have two sons, one who is a college junior and one who is a high school sophomore.    When I am not teaching, I enjoy the outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.) and a variety of sports (basketball, soccer, baseball, etc.).
