Hello ! Welcome to Stan Yarborough's Classroom!
Another year is upon us at Wren High School, and I welcome the opportunity to teach your child. My name is Stan Yarborough, and I joined the Wren High School faculty as a Social Studies teacher in 2015. I received my B.A. in Secondary Education- History from Clemson University in 2000, and a Masters in Administration from Anderson University in 2013. This will be my 23rd year of teaching in Anderson School District One.
The mission of Wren High School, in partnership with students, parents, and community, is to provide a safe and secure environment that will prepare students for the future by providing each student with the knowledge, the skills, and the character necessary to excel in a multicultural and technologically advanced society. We strive to develop students’ potential as productive members of our democratic society, who appreciate diversity and value all people.
My goal as an educator is to: 1. Create an atmosphere and environment for all students to be successful as people. 2. To provide academic support for each person to become a successful student and earn their diploma. 3. To help each student reach their full potential. 4. To help each student launch their career so that when they leave they can use all the resources our academy has provided to get the best opportunities in life.Again, I am excited about teaching your child at Wren High School. If for any reason you need to contact me, please feel free to do so. You can get in touch with me by calling Wren High at 850-5900. I would be happy to set up a conference at any time.
