Welcome to Wren Middle School's physical education class! My name is Randy Thompson and I will be entering my 1st year of teaching physical education but my 15th year in Anderson District 1. I went to school at Wren Middle School and I very excited to be back home!!! In addition to teaching, I am the head varsity baseball Coach for Wren High School and I also help as an assistant coach with the varsity football team, which is the 2019 State Champions!
I am very blessed at be married to my college sweetheart, Ginger! We have been married for 24 years. We have two wonderful Daughters, Raegan 22, and Taylor 15. When I am not teaching or coaching at Wren, I enjoy traveling with my family, playing Golf, or watching Gamecock Sports!
Educational Background: I am a graduate of University of South Carolina, where I was starting Shortstop on the baseball team for 2 years. I aso hold degrees from Spartanbur Methodist College, and Southern Weslyn University..
