    About Me…..

     

    This will be my 22nd year teaching.  I really enjoy teaching students how to discover the world around them.  I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi also known as Ole Miss.  I completed my Masters of Education in 2007 at Southern Wesleyan University and I have also earned my National Board Certification. 
    My family is very important to me.  My husband’s name is Jamie.  He graduated from Clemson and loves the Tigers very much!  Our first-born is named Jacob and he is such a tough little dude that loves his momma sweetly.  We also have a precious little girl, Anna Mae.  She is full of life and keeps us all organized!  Our youngest is named Matthew and he is very special!  He was sent to save my life - ask me about it!  I love to share the story!  My parents live very close to me and I enjoy seeing them as much as possible.  My dad is an educator too.  He recently retired from teaching and coaching football at Wren High School.  

    STEM is my passion and I can't wait to share it with all of my students!  It is our hope that this will give all of our students the skills to solve engineering problems as we incorporate math, science, and technology!
