    Welcome to Mrs. Davis'Classroom!
     
     
    My name is Lori Davis and I am a fifth grade teacher at Cedar Grove.   This is my 21st year of teaching. WOW!!  I guess time flies when you are having fun and love what you do!!  I have many exciting things planned for this school year to actively involve the students in learning.  I hope this will be your child's best year yet! A little about myself...I am married and have a wonderful husband named Greg.  We have two  children.  Our son Blaine is 16 years old and our daughter Maggie is 13. We live in Pelzer, although I grew up in Belton and graduated from B-HP.  I attended Clemson University where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I am a HUGE Clemson fan, and have been going to the football games all of my life!  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and spending quality time with my family.  To be in this profession, you must LOVE what you do.  Teaching is my passion. I feel blessed to have a job I love, and try to be the kind of teacher I would want my own two children to have!  One of my favorite quotes is, "Every child in your class is someone's whole world."  I keep this in mind each and every day as I plan lessons to help all students feel comfortable, accepted, and successful.
