National Honor Society

    The Wren High School National Honor Society is open to 11th and 12th graders who maintain a GPA of 4.3 and meet the standards for membership.  These include good character, leadership, service, attendance and scholarship.  Members complete 25 hours of service each year through a variety of service projects.  Invitation letters to eligible students are delivered in early September.
    Please Note:  We do NOT send anything out over the summer.  Anything you receive over the summer is from another organization that looks and sounds like NHS but is not associated with the National Honor Society.
    Invitations to new members and information for returning members will be sent out the week of September 9th through classroom teachers.  If you do not receive one by Friday of that week and feel that you should have please see on of the advisers right away.  Be sure to watch the due date.

    Club Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 3:15-3:45 in the Auditorium and on Wednesdays from 7:30- 7:45 am in Mrs. Simpson's room in the academy.  If you are LATE more than 5 minutes you will be counted absent.

    Officers' Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 3:15-3:45 in Room 115. 

    Service Hours- 
    *At the first meeting you will receive information about the specific requirements but in general they include:
    *Only 5 hours from summer can be counted.
    *Minimum of 25 hours total
    *You may not count service for another class or club for your NHS service requirements
      (ex: Service Learning, Beta Club, Serteen, & etc.) 
    *Parents may not sign as the supervisor.
