    My name is Judy Griggs, and I am the reading coach at Spearman Elementary. Prior to becoming a reading coach, my classroom experience included teaching kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.  I graduated from USC Upstate in 1997 with a BA in Early Childhood Education and earned a Master's Degree in Education from Southern Wesleyan University in 2003.  I earned National Board Certification in 2008.  I love working with children, mentoring new teachers, and working with teachers. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school.
     
    My husband John and I enjoy the beach, going to Clemson football games, and spending time with our family.
